Team of Davis and Taylor Win 2008 Palm Springs Power Foundation Golf Tournament Congratulations to Tom and Debbie Davis and Al and Jan Taylor on winning the fifth annual Palm Springs Power Foundation Golf Tournament at Indian Canyons Golf Resort, on Friday, May 2. The winning team shot a 58 on the day. Honorable mentions also go out to and Sarah Bonnano for longest drives in the men’s and women’s categories respectively. The Palm Springs POWER Foundation would like to thank every one who supported this event and hope to see them at next year’s tournament on Friday, May 1, 2009.
Open Tryouts Scheduled for
Monday, May 26th at 9am
Open tryouts will be held at Palm Springs Stadium for all eight teams in the Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association (SCCBA) including the POWER. Tryouts will begin promptly at 9am and are open to those currently enrolled in college or between the ages of 18 and 23. Representatives from all eight teams in the SCCBA will be on hand. Manager Estevan Valencia
Signs on for 08' POWER Season
(Thursday, Nov. 29) The POWER have announced that Estevan Valencia has signed on as manager for a 4th season with POWER Baseball. Estevan has managed the POWER since their second season in 2005. Valencia has an outstanding overall record of 101-35 with the POWER. Read Valencia's bio here.
