Q. What is the Palm Springs POWER?

A. The Palm Springs POWER is a summer collegiate team. The roster is comprised of elite college players from  all across the nation, as well as the Coachella Valley. Over the past three years, the POWER has led all nationally recognized summer collegiate teams in win percentage and has seen 55 players drafted by Major League Baseball since 2004. The POWER competes against teams from all across the Western United States comprised of equally talented collegiate players. The POWER play in front of large crowds delivering competitive  baseball on the field and family-friendly atmosphere around the ballpark.

Q. Where do the POWER play their home games?

A. The POWER play all of their home games at Palm Springs Stadium, the former spring-training home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Palm Springs Stadium is located at 1901 E. Baristo Road in the City of Palm Springs, right next door to the Palm Springs Library. For directions to the ballpark, click here.

Q. How can I purchase tickets?

A. Tickets can be purchased at the stadium during business hours (9 AM – 5 PM), at the ticket window one hour before the first pitch or by phone at (760) 778-HITS. For more information on tickets, click here.

Q. When does the POWER season begin and end?

A. The POWER season begins around the end of May/beginning of June and runs through the end of July/early August (see schedule).

Q. What league does the POWER play in?

A. The POWER are a member of the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League, the premier summer destination for the nation’s best collegiate baseball athletes. The SCCBL is a 6-team league based out of Palm Springs, California and is a member of the National Baseball Congress.

Q. How can I listen to POWER broadcasts?

A. All POWER games can be heard by visiting the POWER website and clicking the “Listen Live” link. Select games can be heard on Team 1010 KXPS, the official radio broadcast partner of the POWER.

Q. Can I bring outside food or drinks into Palm Springs Stadium?

Outside food and drink is not permitted in Palm Springs Stadiums, although fans may bring in one sealed bottle of water. We do offer a variety of concessions inside the park, including hot dogs, salads, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and much more.

Q. Can I bring my pet to a game?

Fans may bring their pet to the game with them, although ensuring the safety of any animal brought to Palm Springs Stadium remains the responsibility of the owner.
