Nolan Nicholson can beat you two ways: when he’s playing poker, and when he’s on the mound.  Nicholson is a tall drink of water at 6’3” 190 lbs., but behind a poker table, wearing his ghetto fabulous blacked-out sunglasses, he is a force to be reckoned with.  Strategically, the Business major at University of Redlands will twist, twirl and scramble the minds of his opponents as he magically destroys them.  The story is the same on the diamond for Nolan, stumping hitters with 17 strikeouts and three wins while posting a 2.23 ERA.  At the stadium, you can’t miss number 35; his oversized jersey could be used as a personal parachute.  The Fullerton native believes that “Dumb & Dumber” is the all-time greatest film, ribs are divine, and the Angels are the team to beat in the American League.
