Next semester Jordan Snider will be embarking on a new journey to what some people might say is baseball’s second home, Japan. There, Jordan will be studying global business (his major at University of Redlands), the language of Japanese, and could have an opportunity to workout with Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter. The right-handed outfielder has already written reports on Japanese baseball, but will now be able to observe how the Japanese culture embraces the game first-hand. Naturally, number 24 is a die-hard Dodger fan; his grandfather is the Dodger all-time great Duke Snider. Besides being indulged in baseball, Snider frequently visits “The Happiest Place on Earth”, Disneyland, and is a master at the game “World of Warcraft”.
