PALM SPRINGS, CA – Adrian DeMar threw a complete game, four-hit shutout as the San Diego Force (20-7) defeated the POWER (25-6) 2-0 at Palm Springs Stadium on Saturday night.

Force catcher Shawn Walters came up with his third and fourth RBIs of the season in the second inning as he hit a first-pitch fastball back up the middle to score Colby Everett and Timothy Williams.

POWER starter Gabriel Asakura had a nice outing going seven and two-thirds innings while allowing just two runs on seven hits.

Outfielder Hank Yates continues to be one of the hottest POWER bats going 2-for-4 including a bunt single in the sixth to break up DeMar’s no-hit bid.

The POWER are back in action tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. as the San Diego Waves visit Palm Springs for the only time this season.
