PALM SPRINGS, CA – Brooks Klein went 2-for-5 including a home run, an RBI and two runs scored as the POWER (9-1, 3-1) beat conference foe Team San Diego (6-7, 0-3) 8-4 at Palm Springs Stadium on Wednesday.

Reliever Daniel Peterson (1-0) made his first appearance for the POWER allowing two runs over four innings for the win.

Ryan Jones chipped in with two hits and two RBI and Matt Paradise added two runs and an RBI for Palm Springs who improved to 9-1 overall.

Aidan Kennedy led the way on offense for Team San Diego going 2-for-3 with an RBI.

The POWER are off tomorrow before returning to the field for a three-game set inside the SCCBL against the High Desert Heat. Gates open at 6:05 p.m. with the first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
