PALM SPRINGS, CA – Brooks Klein went 2-for-4 with two extra base hits and four RBIs as the POWER (24-5, 12-4) swept the Casa Grande Cotton Kings (9-10) 8-0 at Palm Springs Stadium on Wednesday night.

Pitcher Ryan DeJesus (4-0) pitched five scoreless innings and recorded six strikeouts as Palm Springs won their ninth consecutive game.

Shortstop Chesny Young added two hits and RBI for the POWER who totaled 28 hits and 25 runs in the two-game series.

Four POWER pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout that extended their staff scoreless streak to 20 innings.

Palm Springs is back in action on Friday as the San Diego Waves come to town. Gates open at 6:05 with the first pitch at 7:05.
