PALM SPRINGS, CA – Edgar Gomez collected his fourth win of the season throwing 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief as the POWER (20-5, 12-4) topped the San Luis Obispo Rattlers (19-9) 8-5 in game one of their series at Palm Springs Stadium on Friday Night.

David Kiriakos continued his hot play going 3-for-5 at the plate with a double, two runs and two RBIs.

Carney Chamberlain and Dylan Becker each added three hits and a run scored for a POWER offense that has scored 27 runs and recorded 40 hits over their last three ballgames.

First-baseman Marc Flores led the way for the Rattlers going 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base.

The POWER are back at home tomorrow taking on these same Rattlers with the first pitch at 7:05 pm.
